· Ages 21 + MUST show physical ID for entrance.

· Backpacks &/or Purses MUST be Clear!!

· In & Out privileges are available WITH festival wristbands.

· NO Pets

· NO Outside Food &/or Alcohol.

· NO Alcohol beyond Festival Gates.

· NO Smoking at all. (NO Tobacco and NO Drugs)

· NO Bicycles, Roller Skates &/or Skateboards, etc.

· NO Weapons of any kind. (Attendees will be subject to search by security each time you enter.)

· ChicoLIVE is a rain OR shine music festival.

EVENT RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY:

I understand that by purchasing any ticket(s) for any event or showcase organized by ChicoLIVE, Downtown Chico Business Association. I will expose myself and my guests to the normal risks of injury or harm associated with nature, musical events, and social activities in general.

I hereby fully and forever release, discharge, and agree not to sue ChicoLIVE Artists, Downtown Chico Business Association, or any of its affiliates, employees, representatives, or successors for any and all claims, causes of action or liability for any injury, loss or damage sustained or incurred by me or my guests arising out of or in any way associated with our attendance at or participation in the Event.

I agree that this Event Release and Waiver of Liability shall be construed and interpreted according to the law of the state wherein the Event is conducted, California, and that the release and agree that the waiver of liability herein shall be construed to the maximum allowed by such law. I understand and agree that this Event Release and Waiver of Liability shall be binding upon my heirs, assigns and any personal entity acting upon my behalf.

I have read the above items of the Event Release and Waiver of Liability, understand them, agree to abide by them, and hereby acknowledge that I understand this Event Release and Waiver of Liability.

ChicoLIVE Artists, Downtown Chico Business Association, or any of its affiliates, employees, representatives, or successors does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals, groups, organizations, businesses, spectators, or others who may participate in the Event.

In consideration for your participation in said Event, the individual, group, organization, business, spectator, or other, does hereby release and forever discharge ChicoLIVE, Downtown Chico Business Association and its officers, board, contractors, and employees, jointly and severally from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon or by reason of any damage, loss or injury, which hereafter may be sustained by participating in the Event.

This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss and liability and the consequences thereof, as well as those now disclosed and known to exist. The provisions of any state, federal, local or territorial law or state providing substance that releases shall not extend to claims, demands, injuries, or damages which are known or unsuspected to exist at this time, to the person executing such release, are hereby expressly waived.

I hereby agree on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, to indemnify ChicoLIVE, Downtown Chico Business Association and its officers, board, contractors, and employees, joint and severally from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon or by reason of any damage, loss or injury, which hereafter may be sustained by participating in the Event.

It is further understood and agreed that said participation in the Event is not to be construed as an admission of any liability and acceptance of assumption of responsibility by ChicoLIVE, Downtown Chico Business Association and its officers, board, contractors and employees, jointly and severally, for all damages and expenses for which ChicoLIVE, Downtown Chico Business Association and its officers, board, contractors, and employees, become liable as a result of any alleged act of the event participant.

CROWD NOTICE / PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE:

I hereby grant permission to ChicoLIVE and/or Downtown Chico Business Association to use photographs and/or video of me taken on September 9, 2023 at ChicoLIVE Music Festival in Downtown Chico's City Plaza in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications related to the mission of Downtown Chico Business Association.
